At The Ferns Primary Academy we take Online Safety very seriously and believe the safety and welfare of the children is vitally important. Our aim is to recognise e-Safety issues and establish good e-Safety practice in classrooms and provide education for safe use of the Internet, mobile phones and other electronic communications technologies, both in and out of school.


The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children?s. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.

The internet can be a fantastic place for children and young people where they can talk to friends, be creative and have fun. However, just like in the real world sometimes things can go wrong.
